Foodtech accelerator Eatable Adventures has partnered with the CERN Venture Connect (CVC) Programme, which recently celebrated its first anniversary since being launched by CERN, the European Laboratory for Particle Physics.

The cooperation aims to foster innovation by providing early-stage companies with access to cutting-edge technology, mentorship, and resources within the scientific community.

CERN has developed technologies for the operation of the world’s largest particle physics accelerator. These technologies have applications across healthcare, environmental science, aerospace, and both digital and quantum fields. CERN Venture Connect, now marking a successful year since its inception, is a prestigious initiative designed to harness CERN’s cutting-edge technologies and expertise to accelerate innovative startups in the Laboratory’s Member and Associate Member States. The Programme offers selected entrepreneurs unprecedented access to CERN’s advanced technologies, facilities, and mentorship from leading experts.

As a partner of CERN Venture Connect, Eatable Adventures will play a role in providing mentorship and expert sessions tailored to the needs of the selected startups. Leveraging CERN’s technological prowess, Eatable Adventures aims to help startups refine their propositions and accelerate their growth in the agrifoodtech sector.

“CERN Venture Connect is designed to empower the next generation of scientist entrepreneurs and shape the future with technology,” said Linn Kretzschmar, who is leading the CERN Venture Connect Programme.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with a global scientific leader like CERN on this pioneering programme,” said José Luis Cabañero, founder and CEO at Eatable Adventures.

“This partnership allows us to combine our expertise in foodtech acceleration with CERN’s groundbreaking technologies, enabling startups at different stages to improve and scale their innovative models in the global market.”

This partnership underscores Eatable Adventures’ commitment to fostering a sustainable future through technological innovation in the food sector. With a track record of accelerating more than 100 startups annually and a network of global partners, Eatable Adventures continues to advance the agrifoodtech ecosystem worldwide.
